Update - Most of the dashboards and reports are now restored in the Polaris Europe instance and data is updating with 30 – 60 minutes. The exceptions are the following dashboards and reports which are still not updating: the Table Component Search dashboard, the Table License Search dashboard, and the Developer Detail SCA report. Our engineering team is working on resolving the issue.
Jun 22, 2026 - 18:00 UTC
Identified - The Dashboarding and Reporting module for the Europe instance (https://eu.polaris.blackduck.com) has been experiencing issues where the data in dashboards and reports has not been updated since June 16, 2026. Our engineering team has identified the root cause and is working to resolve the issue.

We expect to restore the service by June 18, 2026. Until then, data will not be updated in dashboards and reports, but all information will be refreshed once the service is restored. No data will be lost.

Jun 17, 2026 - 19:24 UTC
Update - We are continuing to monitor for any further issues.
Jun 15, 2026 - 13:58 UTC
Update - We are continuing to monitor for any further issues.
Jun 15, 2026 - 13:53 UTC
Monitoring - Data restoration is complete. Dashboards and reporting are fully operational. Polaris SCA automatic KB synchronization is still temporarily paused and will be re-enabled in the upcoming days. We are monitoring system stability.
Jun 12, 2026 - 19:37 UTC
Update - Dashboard and report data restoration, full synchronization, and interim restoration testing are in progress. Polaris SCA automatic synchronization with the Black Duck KnowledgeBase is temporarily paused; however, KB updates continue to be applied with new scans and data continues to be intact. An update on the restoration progress will be shared on June 12th.
Jun 11, 2026 - 18:38 UTC
Update - Dashboard and report data restoration remains in progress. During final synchronization steps on June 9, 2026, we identified an issue that requires additional troubleshooting, which will extend the overall completion timeline.

Current status:
- No data has been lost. Once synchronization is fully restored, all data—including activity generated during the disruption period will be reflected in dashboards and reports.
- SBOM reports are fully functional and up to date.
- Data through June 5, 2026 has been successfully synchronized; work is ongoing to process data from June 5, 2026 to present.
- There is no impact to scans, workflows, or other Polaris platform functionality.
- Multiple remediation paths are being executed in parallel to accelerate resolution and strengthen data synchronization reliability.

We recognize the impact this issue is having and are treating resolution as a top priority, with dedicated teams actively working toward full restoration.

Jun 10, 2026 - 15:49 UTC
Update - Dashboard and reporting data restoration is nearly complete. Our team is performing final synchronization and validation to confirm full accuracy before restoration is confirmed. We will provide a further update by Tuesday, June 10.

Core platform functionality remains unaffected and no data loss is expected.

Scheduled Maintenance

Scheduled Maintenance Notice – Black Duck Binary Analysis SaaS and IP Address Change Jun 24, 2026 06:00-06:30 UTC

The Black Duck Binary Analysis SaaS service (bdba.blackduck.com) will undergo scheduled maintenance on June 24, 2026, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 AM UTC.

Why This Maintenance Is Needed
Kubernetes is retiring Ingress-NGINX (March 2026) due to ongoing maintenance and security concerns. As part of this transition, we are migrating all existing ingress configurations to the Istio Gateway API, which is the recommended modern replacement.

What this means for you:
- Improved platform reliability and security
- Alignment with supported, future-ready infrastructure

ACTION TO TAKE PRIOR TO THE MAINTENANCE WINDOW:
- Customers using IP allowlists should add this IP in advance

What to Expect During the maintenance window:
- A brief service interruption may occur
- The service domains (bdba.blackduck.com and protecode-sc.com) will transition to a new static IP address: 52.210.7.138
- No impact is expected outside of the scheduled window

If you encounter any issues:
- Retry scans or other product action after the maintenance window completes
If problems persist, please contact Support
